Horses
Pete is an Arabian gelding at the stable where my daughter has riding lessons. Each evening one of the horses at the stable is let into the arena for playtime; this particular evening it was Pete's turn. He raced from one end of the arena to the other, skidding to a stop each time just short of smashing into the fence. Even the non-photographers present commented on the quality of the light that evening.

Using the camera's spot meter I exposed to retain detail in the sunlit highlights, making the shaded parts of the horse an average tone.
